1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and improve your experience.
2. Cookie Categories
Operithm uses three categories of cookies:
Essential Cookies (Always Active)
These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| AuthToken | Firebase authentication session | 12 days |
| operithm_consent | Remembers your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
Analytics Cookies (Optional)
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the platform so we can improve our content and user experience. They collect aggregated, anonymous data.
Marketing Cookies (Optional)
These cookies may be used to deliver relevant content and promotional communications. They are only activated with your explicit consent.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you make a purchase, Stripe may set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Your Preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie consent banner that appears at the bottom of the page on your first visit. To reset your preferences, clear the operithm_consent cookie from your browser.
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or making purchases. Instructions for managing cookies vary by browser:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Privacy > Cookies
5. Consent Record Keeping
When you are signed in, your cookie consent choices are recorded in our compliance database for GDPR accountability purposes. This record includes the categories you accepted or rejected, the date and time, and the policy version. You can request access to or deletion of these records via your account settings.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. If we introduce new cookie categories, the consent banner will reappear to request your updated preferences.
